Installing and Running an AIR Application

Install the sample Text Editor Application

• Install the AIR runtime environment if needed
  • http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/air.html

• Install the application from command line via start TextEditor.air or by double clicking on the TextEditor AIR package.
  • start TextEditor.air

• Once installed, the application executable Text Editor.exe can be run whenever needed.
  • Text Editor.exe
